CSD Technical Services is a specialist contractor delivering high-quality passive fire protection and fire stopping solutions across major infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects throughout the UK.

Role Overview
The Fire Stopping Installer will carry out the installation of CSD fire stopping systems on major infrastructure and onshore projects.
Working under the Installation Manager, you will ensure all works are completed safely, accurately, and in line with CSD standards, manufacturer requirements, and third party certification expectations.
This role requires practical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to work professionally alongside other trades and client representatives.
Please note that we currently have a live project in Norwich (Converter Station).
Key Responsibilities
- Installation Works — Install fire stopping systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications, project drawings, and supervisor guidance.
- Quality Compliance — Ensure all works meet required standards, including correct material use, preparation, and finishing.
- Safety Practices — Follow RAMS, wear correct PPE, and maintain safe working methods at all times.
- Documentation — Record installation details, take photo evidence, and support completion of sign off documentation.
- Material Handling — Manage materials responsibly, check batch numbers, and report shortages or issues.
- Team Support — Work collaboratively with the supervisor and other installers, supporting efficient task delivery.
- Coordination — Communicate professionally with other trades and site management to ensure smooth workflow.
- Travel Flexibility — Attend additional UK sites as required.
