This is a substantive Consultant post within the Department of Infection and Tropical Medicine at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will join a well-established team, contributing to all aspects of the general Infectious Diseases service while supporting the continued development of the department. The post holder will provide clinical leadership and specialist expertise across the breadth of Infectious Diseases practice, with opportunities to develop and lead specific areas of clinical interest in collaboration with the Head of Department and Consultant colleagues. This role offers considerable scope for service development, innovation, teaching, research, and regional leadership.
