We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a reputable automotive dealership in Newbury, Berkshire. The Sales Administrator role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual seeking to develop their career within a well-established automotive group. This position is ideal for someone with previous administrative experience and a keen interest in the motor trade.

  • OTE of up to £30,900
  • Monday to Friday, 40-hour week, with no weekend work

Duties:

  • Support the sales and finance teams with daily administrative tasks related to vehicle sales
  • Maintain accurate vehicle stock records and organise new registrations and taxation
  • Liaise with the workshop team to ensure pre-sale work is completed on time
  • Prepare customer handover files and process sales invoices
  • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in full compliance with company standards
  • Assist in managing the sales process behind the scenes to ensure a seamless customer experience, acting as a key part of the Sales Administrator role

Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience; automotive background is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Excel; Kerridge experience is desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical working style
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Excellent communication skills across departments, supporting the Sales Administrator’s function
  • A proactive, customer-focused attitude with a passion for organisation and support, essential for the Sales Administrator role
