Our client is a well-established engineering company based in Needham Market, and they are looking for a Goods In Administrator to join their friendly and busy team. This is a great opportunity for an organised and reliable administrator who enjoys a varied role and is confident communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
The Role
As a Goods In Administrator, you will support the smooth running of deliveries and provide general administration support to the team.
Your duties will include:
- Booking in incoming deliveries and checking paperwork
- Matching purchase orders with delivery notes
- Responding to emails and answering incoming calls
- Coordinating with the Production team regarding customer orders
- Arranging deliveries and liaising with customers
- Keeping records and administration up to date
- Dealing with customer and supplier queries
- Ensuring all paperwork and administration is completed accurately
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Confident using email, telephone and computer systems
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- A good communicator who enjoys working with people
- Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Reliable, professional and willing to get involved
- Previous administration or Goods In experience is ideal
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be an advantage but is not essential
