A reliable and experienced Nanny Housekeeper is needed by a family in Archway, North London to care for their teenage son and help maintain the family home.
The ideal candidate will be warm, organised, proactive, and confident supporting a teenager who will be homeschooled from September.
The candidate should also be comfortable cooking for the family and involving the son in cooking activities.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 1 pm or 2 pm, with either 25 or 30 hours per week.
Duties include
- ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
- preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
- keeping the child's bedroom and living areas clean, organised, and tidy
- engaging the child in suitable activities and educational tasks
- supporting the child's educational development and homeschooling routine
- maintaining consistent daily routines
- preparing meals for the family
- cooking together with the child
- maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the family home
- sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- cleaning and sanitising bathrooms
- cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
- washing, drying, folding, and organising clothes and linens
- managing laundry, ironing, and folding
- making beds and changing bed linens
- loading and unloading the dishwasher
- keeping the home neat, organised, and presentable
- caring for the family's cat
