The Education Team (MPET) supports pre and post-registration clinical learners across multiple professions and delivers a range of educational programmes for Trust staff. We work with clinical services to maintain high-quality learning environments and placements, ensure appropriate learner allocation, and support learners with any challenges or concerns.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Administrator to join our busy team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, accurate, and timely administrative support to MPET, contributing to the effective delivery of multiprofessional education across the Trust. You will be forward-thinking, flexible, with excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills, alongside good attention to detail. Previous administrative experience is essential, and you will be confident working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Job Purpose: To support the Multiprofessional Practice Education Team (MPET) by providing comprehensive, high quality, accurate and timely administrative support; contributing towards the effectiveness and efficiency of multi professional education and providing learners of all clinical professionals (medical and non-medical) with a high-quality learning environment across the Trust.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support across all MPET workstreams.
  • Manage enquiries promptly and professionally, escalating where appropriate, and monitor MPET inboxes to ensure requests are logged, prioritised and responded to or redirected accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate databases, electronic records and shared folders in line with Trust information governance requirements.
  • Support Study Leave administration, including processing applications, preparing documentation and providing administrative support to Study Leave Panel meetings.
  • Provide administrative support for MPET meetings by preparing agendas and papers, taking minutes, maintaining action logs, tracking actions and distributing meeting documentation.
  • Maintain and update MPET information on the staff intranet, Padlets and learner app, ensuring content is accurate and up to date.
  • Support learner and student feedback processes by issuing evaluations, collating responses and producing reports.
  • Administer education and training programmes, including Practice Assessor/Educator training, Care Certificate, clinical skills and learner inductions. Responsibilities include managing bookings, attendance records, course materials, certificates and updating ESR records.
  • Provide administrative support for meetings & training events, including coordinating venues, equipment, resources, participant communications, travel and parking arrangements, and attend events where required to provide on-site administrative support.

Communication:

  • To communicate in a clear, honest and respectful manner at all times.
  • To establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external colleagues to enhance the work of the team.
  • To contribute to the teams’ communication by co-ordinating and distributing information through various channels in an accurate and timely manner.

People Management:

  • Maintaining own personal and professional development and taking part in annual appraisal, KSF process and one to one supervision.
  • Undertake mandatory and statutory training as required by Trust policy.

Infection Control:

  • All staff regardless of whether clinical or not are expected to comply with current infection control policies and procedures and to report any problems about this to their managers.
  • All staff undertaking patient care activities must attend infection control training and updates as required by the trust.

Health and Safety:

  • Employees must be aware of the responsibilities placed upon them under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), to ensure the agreed safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors.
  • To ensure the appropriate use of equipment and facilities and the environment is maintained in good order.
