We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management and real estate services organisation on a short-term contract based in Hull. This is a hands-on role supporting critical building infrastructure, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring electrical systems remain operational and compliant.
Location: Hull, HU8 8AE (On-site)
- Rate: Β£26.91 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance across site.
- Diagnose faults and repair modular UPS systems and associated equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests within SLA targets.
- Complete site surveys, risk assessments and method statements.
- Support installation and upgrade projects on plant and electrical equipment.
- Monitor critical systems and environmental conditions.
- Produce incident reports and root cause analysis following outages or failures.
Key Requirements
- 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations qualification.
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial, industrial or critical environment.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with UPS systems or other critical electrical infrastructure.
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures and safe systems of work.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Additional Information:
- Interview Process: One-stage interview.
- Experience with HVAC, AHU, FCU, heating systems, plumbing, carpentry or joinery would be advantageous.
- Testing and inspection experience is desirable.
