We are excited to share an excellent opportunity to join the Motor Vehicle department at a college in Lancashire as a Motor Vehicle Lecturer.
This is a permanent position, and we are looking for experienced Motor Vehicle professionals who are either already teaching or are eager to transition into the education sector.
If you have the right industry experience but do not yet hold a teaching qualification, full support will be provided to help you achieve this.
This role offers the chance to make a real impact by shaping the Motor Vehicle curriculum, building strong employer relationships, and inspiring the next generation of professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Motor Vehicle curriculum and establish employer relationships for industry placements.
- Teach on various Motor Vehicle programmes as required, up to 810 teaching hours per annum.
- Plan and prepare high-quality teaching materials as directed by your Line Manager.
- Maintain effective links across the College for resource sharing.
- Regularly assess students to track and monitor their progress.
Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
- Minimum level 3 qualification in a related subject.
- Recognised teaching and assessor qualification or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment.
- Assessor and Verifier Qualifications.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in the Motor Vehicle industry.
- Previous teaching experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to engage and inspire students.
