We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to work in our chilled warehouse at the Eurocentral site. This role is focused on handling milk stock and ensuring it is distributed correctly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load and unload roller cages of milk from delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care.
- Check best-before dates and stock codes accurately to maintain product integrity and inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to stock rotation procedures, ensuring older stock is used first to maintain freshness and meet quality standards.
- Replenish stock, consolidate inventory, and prepare cages to ensure orders are securely, safely, and neatly stacked for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment to support efficient warehouse operations and operational readiness.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, follow warehouse procedures, and promptly report any issues, defects, or process improvements to support continuous operational excellence.
Required Experience:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of performance.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to complete documentation accurately.
- Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team, using initiative to solve problems and support operational goals.
