The Best Connection Scotland are presently recruiting Class 1 (C&E) drivers for our National Client out of various locations for the following positions:

  • Doubleman trunking to Birmingham
  • Singleman AM trunks to Aberdeen/Inverness/Carlisle
  • Tramping from Carlisle to Birmingham staying at Carlisle Truckstop

If you are looking for ongoing work or just odd days this is the contract for you.

Job Role

  • Monday to Friday or Sat and Sun
  • Client can accommodate most preferred shift patterns
  • Varied start times from 4am onwards
  • Mainly trunking work, maybe an odd collection on the dayshift

Requirements

  • This role will require a minimum of 6 months experience
  • Valid C&E licence, CPC and Digi Card
  • Max 6 points with no major endorsements, e. g DR, DD, IN etc
  • Excellent Rate of Pay
  • Enhanced rates at the weekend
  • Sun - £26.25 all hours
  • Holiday pay accrued separate
  • Rates increase after 12 weeks
