Tired of travelling around? We have a great opportunity for community-based carers to transition into working at a single location! Are you currently supporting the elderly in their homes and love the work, but find the constant travelling exhausting? We may have the perfect opportunity for you.

We’re looking for an experienced Care Assistant to cover early shifts within a residential service where each resident has their own apartment. Care is delivered on-site by a dedicated team, with scheduled calls managed on a rota to meet individual needs—offering the feel of community care without the travel. The residents are semi-independent, but the role includes personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, domestic duties, and occasional shopping trips in the local area. Some residents require double-up care and assisted moving using hoists and other mobility aids.

If you’re looking for a fresh start in a supportive environment with consistent hours and a strong sense of community, to be suitable for this position you must have:

  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
  • Up to date mandatory training certificates
  • Full up-to-date CV
  • At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate. We have part time or full-time opportunities available with hours being 06:00 to 14:00 on various days from Monday to Sunday! You will be paid £12.71 per hour with an enhancement to £16.90 per hour for unsociable hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00.
