We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our clients team in Heysham.
This full-time, 12-month position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential logistics operations in a professional, safety-focused setting.
Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, unpack, and book goods using the JDE computer system.
- Manage inventory by locating bulk items to hazard warehouses and picking stock for repack orders.
- Perform cycle counts and resolve location discrepancies to ensure inventory integrity.
- Coordinate export shipments, ensuring precise documentation and compliance with transport regulations.
- Handle fine chemicals in accordance with rigorous safety and exposure management protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, adhering to all site security, environmental, and quality policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse, goods-in/out, or materials handling environment.
- Strong proficiency in warehouse and inventory management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
- Basic computer literacy and effective communication skills for team collaboration.
What We Offer
