Key Responsibilities
- Carry out street cleansing duties including litter picking, sweeping, and emptying litter bins.
- Remove fly-tipping and illegally dumped waste safely and efficiently.
- Support grounds maintenance activities such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, and weed control.
- Clean public areas, footpaths, parks, and open spaces.
- Operate and maintain tools, machinery, and vehicles in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Identify and report hazards, defects, anti-social behaviour, or environmental concerns.
- Assist with seasonal duties including leaf clearance, gritting, and snow clearance when required.
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with residents and stakeholders.
