Location: The Compleat Food Group, Wimblington Drive, Milton Keynes, MK6 4AH

Salary: £31,000 per annum

Hours: 4on 2off, 5:30 - 14:00, 37.3 hours a week

Reporting to: Technical Manager

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Be the guardian of food safety & quality on our production lines.
  • Carry out daily inspections, checks, and audits to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Spot and solve issues quickly to keep production flowing.
  • Conduct checks on packaging, labelling, weights, seals, metal detectors, and more.
  • Maintain accurate records that support our technical team and external audits.
  • Encourage best practice in hygiene, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and “Clean As You Go.”
  • Work closely with the Technical Manager and wider team to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Champion a safe working environment by following all H&S procedures.
  • Report hazards and help investigate any incidents.
  • Lead by example when it comes to safe and responsible behaviour.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Level 2 HACCP and Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene qualifications.
  • A solid understanding of Health & Safety in food production.
  • Strong numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, detail-focused approach – able to work under pressure.
  • A true team player who can challenge poor practice and drive high standards.
