Salary: £31,000 per annum
Hours: 4on 2off, 5:30 - 14:00, 37.3 hours a week

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Be the guardian of food safety & quality on our production lines.
- Carry out daily inspections, checks, and audits to ensure compliance with procedures.
- Spot and solve issues quickly to keep production flowing.
- Conduct checks on packaging, labelling, weights, seals, metal detectors, and more.
- Maintain accurate records that support our technical team and external audits.
- Encourage best practice in hygiene, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and “Clean As You Go.”
- Work closely with the Technical Manager and wider team to ensure continuous improvement.
- Champion a safe working environment by following all H&S procedures.
- Report hazards and help investigate any incidents.
- Lead by example when it comes to safe and responsible behaviour.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Level 2 HACCP and Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene qualifications.
- A solid understanding of Health & Safety in food production.
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach – able to work under pressure.
- A true team player who can challenge poor practice and drive high standards.
