We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 7 Children’s Physiotherapist to join our Children’s Therapy Team. The team delivers physiotherapy services to children and young people aged 0–19 years across acute and community settings. This post will be based at Redway School, working with children and young people with complex needs.
The role will include:
- Complex assessment
- Developing and reviewing physiotherapy programmes
- Ordering and reviewing equipment
- Contributing to and reviewing annual reviews for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Liaising with families and the wider multidisciplinary team
We are looking to recruit a physiotherapist with experience of working with children and young people with complex needs who is keen to continue developing the physiotherapy service at Redway School. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting families and liaising with health professionals and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure a high-quality, child-centred service.
The postholder will be involved in the supervision and support of Band 6 physiotherapists and students, as well as providing clinical support to two Assistant Practitioners. You will also work alongside another Band 7 physiotherapist, providing opportunities for shared clinical support, collaborative working and involvement in service planning and development.
