An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Urology Cancer Service for a Urology Cancer Navigator. This pivotal administrative role supports patients throughout their cancer pathway, helping to ensure timely progression from referral through diagnosis and treatment in line with national cancer standards and targets.

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating and monitoring patient pathways, including Two-Week Wait (2WW) referrals, Straight to Test (STT) pathways, and emerging national prostate cancer diagnostic and screening initiatives. Working closely with Urology Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Cancer Managers, MDT Coordinators, and other healthcare professionals, you will help ensure patients receive timely investigations, diagnoses, and treatment while maintaining excellent communication and support throughout their journey.

You will be responsible for tracking patient pathways, coordinating appointments and investigations, liaising with patients and healthcare professionals, escalating pathway delays where appropriate, and maintaining accurate records on Trust systems, including Patient Administration System (PAS), Somerset Cancer Registry, and other relevant databases.
