Duties:

  • Conducting mechanical repairs, suspension work, and vehicle assessments to high standards
  • Diagnosing and repairing suspension, steering geometry, and alignment issues
  • Performing plastic repairs, glazing, and air conditioning system evacuation and recharging
  • Inspecting vehicles to identify additional damages, ensuring quality refits in collaboration with repair consultants
  • Utilising relevant mechanical and suspension qualifications to ensure precise and efficient repairs
  • Maintaining safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout all tasks

Requirements of a MET Technician:

  • Proven experience as a MET Technician or Auto Electrician within the motor trade
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
  • Relevant mechanical and suspension qualifications, ideally ATA MET accreditation
  • LCV experience is desirable
  • Familiarity with steering geometry alignment and adjustment techniques
  • Experience working with plastic repairs, glazing, and air conditioning recharges
  • Excellent attention to detail and a team-oriented approach
