We are seeking an Inclusive Learning Officer to ensure the effective coordination and monitoring of in class support for learners with learning difficulties, disabilities and ESOL, English and Maths support needs.
As Inclusive Learning Officer, you will implement agreed individual programmes of support for learners to enable them to achieve qualification aims, develop independence, enhance progression opportunities and progress towards Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes.
You will safeguard learners and promote their well‑being in all aspects of their learning.
We’re looking for someone who has a proven track record in supporting learners with learning difficulties and other support needs to enhance learner success.
With high level interpersonal skills and experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams, you will have good working knowledge of how to support learners with learning difficulties and other support needs in an educational context and be able to deliver effective staff development.
The ability to use initiative, organise and prioritise is also a must, as is competency in Microsoft Excel.
