We are representing a reputable, franchise-approved dealership in Merthyr Tydfil seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This opportunity is ideal for qualified professionals aiming to develop their career within a well-established automotive group.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct service, maintenance, and repair work on vehicles to manufacturer standards
- Accurately diagnose faults and report findings to the Aftersales Manager
- Ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance are maintained
- Adhere to high-quality workmanship and health and safety procedures
- Responsible for meeting team targets and delivering excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment as a Vehicle Technician
- Assist with additional tasks as required by the Service Department
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Ideally 1 to 2 years' post-qualification experience within a workshop environment
- Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Good team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality work in a fast-paced setting
- Motivated with a commitment to professional development
- Experience with hybrid vehicle technology, PSA vehicles, or holding an MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
