A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Lewisham.

CBW is currently looking for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to be based in a Healthcare environment in Lewisham.

The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (NVQ, C&G, etc) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance to the following.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £48,900 for further training and career progression.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor the mechanical plant
  • Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
  • Monitor the BMS systems.
  • General building fabric
  • Hours of work
  • 4 on 4 off - Days Only

Requirements

  • Level 2 & 3 in Mechanical Engineering (C&G, NVQ etc)
  • A proven track record in Building Maintenance
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical.
  • Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution / HVAC / HV LV (Desirable)
  • Good leadership and management skills
