We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a wonderful residential home in Matlock, to find friendly and reliable people to join their team.

The home supports elderly residents, many of whom are living with age-related illnesses like Alzheimer’s and dementia.

They need passionate agency staff who can step in, fit right into the team, and help look after the physical and emotional wellbeing of their residents.

  • What You’ll Be Doing
  • Everyday Support: Helping residents with their mobility, personal hygiene, and making sure they are eating and drinking well.
  • Looking Out for Wellbeing: Keeping a close eye on both the physical and emotional needs of the residents, bringing a warm and positive energy to every shift.
  • Keeping Things Moving: Jotting down daily condition updates and communicating clearly with the home's senior staff if anything changes.
  • Helping Around the House: Doing a bit of general housekeeping to keep the environment clean, safe, and cozy.
  • Safety First: Following the home’s health and safety rules to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a care setting (especially working with dementia or Alzheimer's) is a must.
  • A patient, warm, and highly reliable personality.
  • Great communication skills—someone who can adapt quickly to new environments and team dynamics.
  • Ready to get started quickly with your compliance documents ready to go.

  • This role offers immediate start opportunities with ongoing work
  • You will be working from 14:00 to 22:00 on Saturdays and Sundays

You will be paid £12.71 per hour (rising to £13.33 after completion of a trial period), you will also recieve £16.90 per hour for hours worked from 19:00 to 22:00
