Duties as Maths Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons using provided plans
- Teach a range of mathematical topics including algebra, number, geometry, and statistics
- Support students in developing reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of mixed-ability groups
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Assess and record pupil progress when required
- Contribute to departmental planning during longer-term placements
- Help promote positive attitudes towards numeracy and independent learning
Ideal Maths Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
