Our client is currently recruiting an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join their busy recycling and composting facility based in Owmby.

This is a hands-on role operating mobile plant machinery in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient movement of materials across the site, ensuring the smooth operation of the recycling and composting process.

Key Responsibilities

  • . Operate a Loading Shovel safely and efficiently.
  • . Load and unload articulated lorries and collection vehicles.
  • . Move and transport materials around the site.
  • . Feed tunnels, shredders, screening equipment, and other processing machinery.
  • . Support the day-to-day recycling and composting operations.
  • . Carry out daily machine checks, greasing, and basic cleaning and maintenance.
  • . Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the site.
  • . Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
