Construction Site Van Driver/Labourer with CSCS

We’re recruiting a Site Van Driver/Labourer with a valid driving license and CSCS card to support a new construction project.

Based on site, you’ll be responsible for transporting materials between the main logistics hub and various buildings across the project.

This role is ideal for someone with van driving experience, who is organised, punctual and able to work within strict safety and security guidelines.

  • Site-based – Market Harborough, Leicester
  • Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

Our client is delivering a major new-build project requiring strict compliance with site security and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the company van to deliver materials safely across the site each day
  • Load and unload materials securely, ensuring compliance with site instructions
  • Accurately manage delivery notes, checking and returning documentation as required
  • Complete deliveries efficiently, following site schedules
  • Maintain a clean and tidy van and report any charging or mechanical issues
  • Put the electric van on charge every evening as per site procedure
  • Follow site security and health and safety rules at all times
  • Report to the Logistics Manager with daily updates on deliveries, issues or delays
  • Support additional logistics or stores tasks as needed
  • General labouring as and when required
  • Must-have Requirements
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Knowledge of safe loading and unloading practices
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to schedules
  • Physically fit and capable of manual work
  • Reliable and punctual with good communication skills
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Nice-to-have Skills
  • Experience working on construction or secure sites
  • Familiarity with delivery documentation and stock handling
