What will you be doing?

With one of the largest growing fleets in the UK, our drivers are pivotal to delivering essential services. They work hard to serve their local communities and make a positive impact every day.

  • Driving Skip/ Hiab, FEL vehicles, RORO vehicles and REL vehicles as well as packaged hazardous waste collections in a curtainsider with Tail Lift
  • Moving of 205Ltr drums, IBCs etc on the Packaged Hazardous waste side
  • Managing waste collections including hazardous materials, skips, and food waste
  • Assist with crushed glass processing in the docks or at the depot
  • Manage driver paperwork from commencement to completion of the job
  • Liaise with various internal and external disposal sites for disposal of wastes from internal and external customers
  • Must be flexible to attend Southampton Docks regularly for short notice waste requests from ships
  • Assist with the processing of bags of food waste and crushed glass
  • Processing documentation and maintaining accurate records

What are we looking for?

  • Valid HGV Class 2 License and experience

Desirable - ADR licence (or a commitment to complete ADR certification at Veolia's cost)
