The Best Connection are currently seeking EXPERIENCED Refuse Collectors for ongoing positions at a well known council based in the Mansfield area. We are seeking hard working, physically fit, and reliable candidates, as it will be your duty to represent the local council; therefore, first impressions are very important.
Duties:
- Wheeling bins to the edge of the pavement and loading them onto the lorries
- Returning empty bins to houses
- Heavy lifting/pulling
- Working lorry machinery
- The role may include other work such as on the tidy up scheme
Working hours:
Earliest start time 0600 and latest finish time is 1600. Days can vary, depending on the rounds you are working on!
Pay:
£12.71, increasing to £13.26 after completion of 12 weeks. Please note - you are paid for the hours worked each shift. Busier periods will require you to work weekends/Bank Holidays; however, this will be paid at time and a half/double time.
