We are looking for experienced Support Workers to join an established team at a residential home in Mansfield.

The service provides specialized care for younger adults living with mental health conditions and learning disabilities, and they need reliable, proactive people to start right away.

What you'll be doing

  • Following individualized care plans to support younger adults with their daily routines, including aspects of personal care.
  • Working on a one-to-one basis with residents to encourage independence and assist with daily activities.
  • Completing daily logs and paperwork, and reporting any concerns or updates to senior staff.
  • Collaborating with the permanent team to maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment.

What we need from you

  • Previous experience working as a Support Worker (experience with mental health or learning disabilities is highly valued).
  • A patient, understanding approach and the ability to build great rapport with younger adults.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or we can help you get one sorted quickly).

You will need

  • A minimum of 3 months experience in a Care environment
  • A DBS dated within the last 12 months or the facility to pay for one
  • All relevant mandatory training up-to-date and ideally certificates to show for this

This is an ongoing role.

You will be working from 08:00 to 15:00 or 15:00 to 22:00 on various days therough the week as required
