We are currently recruiting for
Mandarin-speaking Warehouse Operatives to join our client's busy warehouse team on a night shift, working
10:00pm - 6:00am.
The successful candidates will be required to use
Mandarin to communicate with colleagues and operate the warehouse system, so good spoken and written Mandarin is essential.
This is a hands-on warehouse role involving a variety of duties, including stock taking, picking, packing, sorting stock, pallet wrapping and working with containers. The role can involve heavy lifting, so applicants must be comfortable with physically demanding work.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock taking and checking inventory levels using the warehouse system.
- Using the warehouse system in
Mandarin to complete relevant tasks and update stock information.
- Picking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Packing goods ready for dispatch.
- Sorting and organising stock within the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading containers.
- Pallet wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatch.
- Moving stock around the warehouse safely.
- Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
- Following all health and safety procedures.
- Communicating effectively with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and supervisors.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets.
What We're Looking For
Fluent Mandarin speaking ability is essential.
- Ability to read and understand Mandarin is required for using the warehouse system.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
- A reliable and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to work at pace and meet targets.
- Comfortable carrying out heavy lifting and manual work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good timekeeping and attendance.
- Flexibility and willingness to carry out a variety of warehouse duties.
- Must be comfortable working
10:00pm - 6:00am.
