Head of TUPE & Workforce Transition to lead Sodexo's specialist function for employee transfers, workforce transitions and organisational change. This strategic role will provide expert guidance on TUPE, outsourcing, insourcing, restructures, redundancies and collective consultation, ensuring legal compliance while delivering positive employee and commercial outcomes. Working closely with HR, Legal, Commercial, Operational and Bid teams, you will support business growth, contract mobilisation and organisational transformation across the organisation, while leading a team of subject matter experts.

Main Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation's TUPE, workforce transition and collective change centre of expertise, providing strategic guidance and governance across the business.
- Provide specialist people advice on bids, TUPE transfers, outsourcing, insourcing, contract mobilisation, demobilisation and organisational restructuring activities.
- Lead and support complex collective consultation and redundancy programmes, ensuring legal compliance and effective employee relations outcomes.
- Develop and maintain policies, frameworks, tools and guidance relating to workforce transitions, organisational change and consultation obligations.
- Identify, assess and mitigate employment, commercial, operational and employee relations risks associated with organisational change activity.
- Advise senior leaders, HR teams and operational management on workforce change strategy, employment liabilities and risk management.
- Liaise with the IR lead to determine engagement with recognised trade unions by HR/operations, employee representatives and other stakeholders on matters relating to workforce transitions and collective change.
- Support commercial, procurement and bid teams through workforce due diligence, people-risk assessments and transition planning.
- Lead, develop and coach a team of specialist advisors, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality expert support.
- Monitor legislative developments, case law and best practice, ensuring organisational readiness and compliance.
- Deliver training, capability building and knowledge-sharing initiatives to improve organisational understanding of TUPE, redundancy and consultation requirements.
- Produce management information, risk assessments and reports for senior leadership and governance forums, supporting business decision-making

The Ideal Candidate
- Degree or equivalent professional experience in HR, Employment Law or Business.
- Significant experience in TUPE, organisational change, redundancy and employee relations within a complex, multi-site environment.
- Expert knowledge of TUPE, collective redundancy and consultation requirements within multi-site and multi sector /industry service provider business (preferably with a mixture of operating in public and private sector contracts)
- Strong understanding of employment law, trade union relations and organisational change.
- Strong commercial and strategic judgement.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage complex risk and deliver practical solutions.
