Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:00pm or 7:00am – 3:00pm

Centric Talent is currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join our client based in Bolton (BL3). Our client is one of the UK's leading bathroom manufacturers and retailers, supplying high-quality bathroom products to customers nationwide. With over 30 years of industry experience, they have built an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering a long-term, temporary-to-permanent position within a friendly and supportive working environment.

The Role

As a Maintenance Operative, you will support the day-to-day maintenance of the warehouse and factory, ensuring the site remains safe, organised and fully operational. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone with previous maintenance, labouring or DIY experience who enjoys practical work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general maintenance across the warehouse and factory
  • Build, repair and paint wooden pallets
  • Complete basic welding and fabrication tasks where required
  • Undertake general labouring duties across the site
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Report maintenance issues through the correct channels
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Support other departments with maintenance-related tasks when required

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a maintenance, labouring or warehouse maintenance role
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Experience building or repairing pallets would be advantageous
  • Welding and fabrication experience is desirable
  • Strong DIY or general maintenance skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Good understanding of health and safety in the workplace
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm or 7:00am – 3:00pm
  • Temporary to Permanent opportunity
  • Monthly pay on the 28th of each month
