Duties
- Managing parts orders efficiently to meet workshop requirements
- Assisting with parts identification and sourcing for technicians
- Preparing parts in advance to optimise workshop productivity
- Maintaining accurate stock control and organisation
- Liaising with the workshop team to meet their parts needs promptly
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Supporting the team in parts pricing and ordering processes
- Maintaining a high level of customer service when dealing with internal departments
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Parts Advisor within an automotive dealership or workshop environment
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Familiarity with parts ordering systems such as Kerridge/CDK or equivalent
- IT literacy, including experience with parts lookup tools like Microcat or Superservice
- Good knowledge of vehicle parts and technical aspects relevant to the role
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly
- Previous experience supporting workshop operations in a busy dealership setting is advantageous
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a focus on delivering excellent service
