Duties of the MOT Technician
- Conducting servicing, diagnosis, and repairs to a high standard
- Communicating effectively with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control
- Providing technical advice to customers when required
- Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge
- Ensuring high levels of customer service, contributing to customer loyalty
- Upholding excellent housekeeping and workshop standards
- Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken
Requirements of the MOT Technician
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Level 2 qualifications considered under certain circumstances
- Current MOT licence
- Friendly, approachable personality with strong organisational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure as the MOT Technician
- Attention to detail and quality awareness
- Full UK driving licence
