Cygnet Hospital Maidstone is our state-of-the-art, 65 bed mental health facility for adults situated in the new Kent Medical Campus in Maidstone.
We are looking for a part-time Hospital Administrator with a passion for making a difference to provide comprehensive administration support to the hospital.
You'll have the option to work 22.5 or 30 hours a week in office and hospital setting. Hours can be flexible between Monday - Friday.
Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 31st May 2027.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include
- Support the Quality and Admin Manager with Admin duties.
- Support the General Manager with coordinating training courses, managing training compliance for all departments at site and scanning training documents. Administration of
- To provide rostering support to the hospital.
- Attend the daily safety huddle meeting as necessary.
- Prepare agenda for Heads of Department meeting.
- Collate the On Call Manager rota and update all aspects of the rota once these have been received.
- To cover administration roles as necessary.
- Be the first contact person in relation to ICT/printers/phone matters at the site.
- Co-ordinate the process for CTR meetings.
Ensuring that all information has been shared with external stakeholders and internal colleagues, meeting rooms are booked and the panel is greeted with on the day and actions are shared with the MDT once received.
- Undertake any reasonable request from senior management, medical, clinical and administration teams.
You are
- An administrator with experience in health care & knowledge of mental health.
- Flexible, organised, able to prioritise workloads, solve problems & make decisions.
- Calm under pressure & can work under your own initiative.
- A strong written & verbal communicator with an eye for detail & excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, Access, Windows & the internet.
