This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to work in a team providing care and support to young people under 18 in their communities.

As a Healthcare Support Worker in IHT, you will be responsible for visiting young people in their homes, schools or agreed community locations. The interactions you have will be supportive to their mental health and emotional wellbeing needs. You will also be responsible for delivering on agreed care plans and observing young people's needs and reporting this back to the Multi-Disciplinary Team.

The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).

  • Attendance to daily meetings and safety huddles.
  • Prioritise your own allocation and appointments.
  • Engage, observe and report clinical and non-clinical information on electronic patient records.
  • Be able to use interpersonal skills to develop trust and rapport whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Report accurate information back to team colleagues regarding any risks or safeguarding concerns.
