This is an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning Eating Disorders Service and become part of a strong clinical dietetic team. You will work closely with our apprentice dietitian and dietetic assistant, while receiving excellent support from our Senior Dietetic Team.
The successful candidate will manage a varied, specialist caseload across both community and inpatient mental health settings and will be supported to develop competencies in enteral feeding and Eating Disorder clinical specialities. It would suit either a Band 5 Dietitian looking to develop specialist skills or a newly qualified dietitian seeking support from a highly skilled and experienced team.

The role includes working both in the Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) pathway and a general adolescent inpatient unit. You will undertake comprehensive nutritional assessments to develop individualised nutrition care plans and work autonomously to review and monitor risk and progress. You will contribute to audit and quality improvement initiatives, as well as research projects, to enhance both your own practice and that of the wider clinical team. You will also be involved in reviewing and developing patient information resources.
You will support the delivery of family-based interventions for children and young people, working collaboratively with families and the wider multidisciplinary team. In addition, you will provide nutritional support for patients requiring enteral feeding and participate in meal support and meal modelling within the inpatient setting.
