We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Bodyshop Advisor/Estimator in Maidstone, Kent. Duties of the Bodyshop Advisor:
- Welcome customers in a courteous and professional manner to ensure a positive experience
- Handle incoming customer and insurance enquiries, arranging bookings and appointments
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding repair progress and additional work required
- Provide accurate vehicle repair estimates and upsell bodywork and wheel repair services where appropriate
- Process invoices and ensure full payment prior to vehicle collection
- Liaise with internal teams to maintain seamless communication and process compliance
- Manage customer complaints and issues efficiently to ensure swift resolutions
- Maintain accurate records and update dealership database consistently
- Assist in building and maintaining customer relationships to promote satisfaction and loyalty
Requirements of the Bodyshop Advisor:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the automotive or bodyshop sector is desirable
- Strong customer service and communication skills as the Bodyshop Advisor
- Ability to handle enquiries professionally and with attention to detail
- Full driving licence with a clean driving record
- Organisation skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and estimates (preferred but not essential)
