Shifts: 28.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday on a rota basis)

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Based at Ty Newydd, in Maesteg, we provide nursing care for 16 adults over the age of 18. We offer a place called home for people with a range of complex specialist mental health needs.

As our Chef, you will play a vital role in the heart of the home - the kitchen. You’ll prepare fresh, nutritious, home-cooked meals tailored to individual needs and preferences, consulting with colleagues to plan varied menus that meet dietary requirements, including guidance from SALT and other professionals.

This role offers:

  • 10-hour shifts between 8am and 6pm
  • Autonomy to suggest and lead themed food events and special celebration days
  • The opportunity to create and manage an annual events calendar
