Exciting times - CWP are recruiting a Band 5 nurse for our 15 bedded low secure male inpatient mental health service. We have lots of career opportunities and we are situated in the heart of Cheshire with good transport to Manchester and the Peak District. We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse, either with experience or newly qualified to offer preceptorship, to expand our existing team. If you relish a challenge, are caring and compassionate and have a passion to help others, then we need people who share our values and vision to join inpatient services as Staff Nurses.
Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) are looking to develop and strengthen our existing teams in the Macclesfield area. All wards offer a 24-hour service; therefore the successful candidates must be flexible and able to work a rotational shift pattern that includes a range of 12.5 hour shifts over days, nights and weekends.
You will be able to demonstrate a real enthusiasm for mental health nursing and caring for individuals with a mental health background, as well as a desire for on-going professional development. You will receive excellent training and opportunities for development, clinical supervision and appraisal. We also offer our staff training packages, development and leadership pathways and a comprehensive preceptorship program for those who are newly qualified.
We also provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
- Competitive salary based upon an incremental pay progression scheme.
- Annual leave based upon length of NHS service. On commencement of service 35 days, after 5 years 37 days and after 10 years 41 days all are pro rata and inclusive of public holidays.
- An excellent NHS pension scheme.
