The Role
Working 3 days per week - 22.2 hours.
We have a great part time opportunity in this department and we are looking for a candidate that has Digital/Illustration experience.
- The post will involve the marketing, delivery and assessment of a range of courses across the Art curriculum from Level 1 to Foundation, you will also be required to have some course leadership and internal verification responsibilities.
- The post will require some evening/weekend work (enrolment, curriculum and open events)
- Course management responsibility.
- Teaching may be across a range of programmes and levels.
- Ability to work with Adobe suite / relevant software
Main Duties for this role include
- To plan teaching, learning and assessment for college programmes using the appropriate college format to ensure effective learning.
- To deliver teaching and learning to at least a consistently good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
- To assess accurately learners work both formatively and summatively against appropriate awarding body criteria to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.
- To comply with all college quality assurance procedures as prescribed by the Deputy Principal to ensure the achievement of all internal and external audits.
- Thoroughly prepare suitable teaching, learning and assessment materials for a range of courses/classes and make use of a variety and appropriate learning and teaching methods.
- Have available an up-to-date syllabus and scheme of work (showing methods of delivery and embedded cross-cutting themes) for each course/class taught.
