THE ROLE
As a Golden Experience Host, you’ll be the dedicated point of contact for Lapland UK’s premium guests, creating a warm, personalised and magical experience from the moment families arrive.
You’ll welcome and guide guests throughout their journey, combining exceptional service, storytelling and thoughtful touches to create memorable moments that families will treasure long after their visit.
You’ll
- Welcome and warmly engage with premium guests throughout their Lapland UK journey
- Act as a dedicated host and point of contact, ensuring families feel comfortable, cared for and well looked after
- Guide guests seamlessly through the experience and help them understand what to expect at each stage
- Create thoughtful, personalised moments that bring the magic of Lapland UK to life
- Use storytelling and engaging communication to enhance the guest experience
- Support families with confidence, warmth and professionalism throughout their visit
- Help create an exciting, comfortable and memorable experience for every guest
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the premium guest experience
- Remain calm, organised and professional in a busy live event environment
- Follow Lapland UK service, costume, appearance and operational standards
- Attend all required paid training sessions
SKILLS NEEDED
- Confident, outgoing and proactive with a natural ability to engage with guests
- Warm, approachable and emotionally intelligent
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Naturally able to create comfort, excitement and memorable experiences
- Confident with storytelling and engaging with families
- Calm, professional and organised under pressure
- Experienced in customer-facing roles, ideally within premium hospitality, events or entertainment
- Luxury hospitality, event hosting or performance experience is desirable but not essential
- Passionate about creating exceptional and magical guest experiences
- Able to work well as part of a team
REQUIREMENTS
- Available for the full live event period from 7 November to 24 December 2026
- Available to commit to a minimum of three shifts per week
- Available to attend all required paid training between late October and early November 2026
- Comfortable working in a busy, premium customer-facing environment
- Able to follow Lapland UK costume, appearance and operational standards
- Able to remain professional and engaging throughout extended guest interactions
- Willing to fully embrace the Lapland UK experience and story

- APPEARANCE REQUIREMENTS
- All jewellery and piercings must be removed while in costume, including clear replacements, tooth gems and grills
- Neatly groomed, natural-coloured hair
- Long hair must be worn in plaits when required for elf roles
- Religious head coverings, if worn, must be neutral brown, beige or navy
- Natural makeup only, with foundation matching natural skin tone if worn
- Minimal mascara, with no false eyelashes
- No tattoos permitted from the collar bone upwards for customer-facing roles, with additional tattoo restrictions depending on role requirements
- Watches, smartwatches and phones must be securely stored in lockers during shifts
