We are looking for a caring and reliable female Personal Assistant to support a 16‑year‑old girl who has a rare genetic condition called HNRNPH2.

Location: Lymm

Rate of Pay: £15.00 p/h

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development of independent living skills
  • Assisting with personal care, including showering, toileting, and changing continence pads
  • Supporting with moving and handling, including lifting and hoisting (essential)
  • Escorting and supporting her during community outings and events
  • Encouraging participation in social and leisure activities
  • Providing appropriate supervision and ensuring her safety and wellbeing

Person Specification:

  • Have experience supporting people with physical disabilities and additional needs
  • Be confident providing personal care
  • Have experience using hoists and undertaking moving and handling tasks
  • Be reliable, patient, and compassionate
  • Preferably hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle

Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
