Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant in Acute Internal Medicine to join the emergency service across Acute General and Elderly Medicine. The appointee will rotate through the Emergency Assessment Unit and short stay wards, and participate in the acute take with a 1 in 12 rota.
He/she will oversee new admissions and train junior medical staff. There is opportunity to support SDEC and outpatient follow-up, with collaboration across cardiology and respiratory.
