This is a key role within the Quality and Performance Team, working directly with the Head of Quality and Performance to support governance, assurance and support improvement across services. You’ll work closely with operational managers and director-level colleagues, acting as a central point for quality oversight.

From coordinating complaints activity and tracking serious incident action plans, to chairing governance meetings and preparing reports, your role will be both visible and impactful. Data and analytics are a core part of this role. You’ll support quality assurance processes through audits, quality reviews, and contribute to the implementation and monitoring of PSIRF. You’ll need strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and charts, and the ability to turn data into clear, meaningful insights. Regular, timed reporting is essential, particularly for the ICB, senior leaders and internal forums, but ad hoc work is also a key feature.

We’re looking for someone who embraces change, can manage competing priorities, and is confident in organising their own workload effectively. If you’re ready for a role that offers variety, responsibility and innovation, we’d love to hear from you!

As Governance Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting operational services, senior leaders, and corporate colleagues in delivering governance support. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Holding meetings to review complaint themes, learning and action progress
  • Working closely with corporate risk, complaints, and quality assurance teams
  • Supporting audits and reviews
  • Contributing to the implementation and monitoring of PSIRF
  • Using data and analytics to inform quality and assurance activity
  • Training and refresher for systems - such as Inphase

We’re looking for someone who is organised and self-motivated, able to manage and prioritise their own workload effectively. Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive – so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.
