Duties of the Parts Sales Executive
- Handle inbound parts sales calls, understanding customer requirements and identifying suitable parts
- Make proactive outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to generate sales
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Follow up quotations and maximise sales opportunities
- Promote products, offers, and campaigns to customers
- Manage the shared sales inbox, responding promptly to parts enquiries
- Process customer orders accurately via telephone and email
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity logs on the CRM system
- Support wider sales team with administrative and operational tasks
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the company’s parts range and services
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure excellent customer service
Requirements of the Parts Sales Executive
- Proven experience in parts sales, internal sales, or a customer-focused sales role within the automotive industry
- Experience making outbound sales or account management calls
- Knowledge of automotive parts (advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confident and positive telephone manner
