Our Client is hiring for a reputed client for an Investment Officer (Data), providing essential data and operational support across the grant lifecycle.
What you'll be doing:
- Coordinate operational delivery of the Open Investment Programme, supporting applications across the full grant lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate grant records, programme data and statutory datasets, ensuring information is complete, reliable and decision-ready.
- Carry out initial due diligence and programme administration, ensuring applications are processed in line with programme policies, governance requirements and service standards.
- Support programme governance by coordinating peer review/decision processes, preparing documentation, recording outcomes and keeping a full audit trail.
- Help ensure timely, accurate communications with applicants and grant recipients throughout the lifecycle.
- Support statutory reporting for Lottery and Exchequer investments, ensuring data is accurate, complete and compliant with external requirements.
- Validate, reconcile and cleanse programme data to improve quality, integrity and consistency across funding systems and reporting datasets.
- Produce and maintain programme performance information to support monitoring of key performance indicators and operational decision-making.
- Assist with implementing data and reporting improvements driven by policy changes, system developments and external reporting standards.
- Build positive working relationships and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, customer-focused team culture.
What you'll bring:
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to agreed timescales.
- Excellent attention to detail, working accurately and consistently in line with agreed processes.
- Confident written and verbal communication, building effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong digital skills, including confidence with Microsoft Office and business systems to manage, analyse and present information.
- Experience working with data, able to validate information, spot inaccuracies and ensure data is fit for reporting and decision making.
