Duties

  • Conduct accurate repairs and servicing on a variety of vehicle makes and models as a Vehicle Technician
  • Diagnose vehicle faults and ensure repair solutions are safe, efficient, and compliant with manufacturer and industry standards
  • Complete all work within specified timescales, maintaining high quality and safety standards
  • Assist and provide guidance to fellow Vehicle Technicians, offering diagnostic support and technical advice
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle condition and repair progress
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and ensure parts are ordered and used correctly
  • Keep the workshop environment clean, safe, and organised at all times
  • Follow manufacturer protocols and retailer policies at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a franchised dealer environment preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and electronic system knowledge
  • Valid UK driving license
  • High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
  • Good team player with a proactive approach to work
  • Motivated to achieve targets and deliver excellent customer service
