As our Warehouse Worker, you'll be at the heart of embassy logistics, handling everything from furniture to welcome kits, and playing a vital role in supporting embassy staff and their families. No two days are the same!
You'll:
- Load, unload, and transport goods using forklifts, trolleys, and other equipment
- Prepare and deliver welcome kits to new arrivals - be the friendly face that helps colleagues settle in
- Conduct inventories and routine safety inspections to keep our warehouse secure and efficient
- Serve as an incidental operator of official vehicles
- Support official visits and events with hands‑on logistics assistance
- Escort visitors and contractors on post
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of manual labor or warehouse experience
- Good working English (speaking, reading, writing)
- Solid know-how of warehouse operations, security standards, and inventory practices
- Physical readiness to lift up to 51 lbs (23 kg) and work in all weather conditions
- A valid full manual UK/EU/EEA driver's license (vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes)
