Join a leading independent technology and services provider as an IT Support Engineer (L3).

Location: London

Contract: 01-Sep-2026 - 31-Dec-2026

Pay Rates: PAYE Basic Rate: £19.85/hour

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Job Purpose: The Technician 3 role is responsible for deploying complex workstation configurations, including Trader and MD&P desk environments with multiple monitor setups. The role requires advanced installation skills, attention to detail and ownership of end-to-end deployment quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure complex workstation layouts, including:
    • Install monitor brackets, fixings and monitor mounting solutions in accordance with approved standards.
    • Coordinate with Technician 1 resources for lifting and installation of larger monitor configurations where required.
    • Install desktop devices on or underneath desks in accordance with design standards.
    • Connect all power, network, video and peripheral cabling as specified within the deployment documentation.
    • Ensure all cabling is neatly routed and secured to agreed standards.
    • Configure and power on monitors, confirming correct operation and display configuration.
    • Power on desktop devices and verify network connectivity.
    • Perform installation quality checks and rectify any issues identified.
    • Capture photographic evidence of completed desk deployments and testing results.
    • Escalate technical, logistical or installation issues to the on-site lead.

Requirements:

  • Must provide and use appropriate deployment tools, including electronic screwdrivers and suitable screwdriver heads.
  • Must wear PPE whilst working on construction sites.
  • Must follow site health and safety requirements at all times.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle IT equipment with support for larger monitor installations where required.
