The Trust is seeking a speciality doctor to work on the acute inpatient ward at Hammersmith and Fulham Mental Health Unit. The post holder will work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team led by the consultant psychiatrist, who is the line manager for the post. The post holder will be based on one ward and work with one team; however, at times, they will be required to work with other inpatient teams as part of their 10 PA job.

Our acute general adult wards focus on prompt initiation of safe effective treatments and eliminating all non-clinical delays from our patient pathways. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of an extremely capable ward team, including ongoing co-production projects improving physical health care, improving patient experience, and opportunities to develop inpatient care further.

They will participate in the multi-disciplinary team providing senior assessments, advice and supervision, and lead ward rounds with the MDT, patients, and carers.
