The predicted salary is between 26 - 31 £ per hour.

Must be happy & prepared to work as required on sites in local areas such as Uxbridge, Belverdere, London & Slough with longer travel or may require staying such as Braintree, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds etc. Mon to Thu overnight lodging paid & meals & travel times etc.

We are recruiting personnel at all levels and covering similar steel welding fabrication & steel erection roles depending on applicants' skill sets & experience. Working in the fab shop on pre-fabrication work for projects, site work as required.

Steel Erector Fabricator Welders will be more involved with fabrication work plus higher spec welding work with MIG. Work on mild steel, ali metal on angle, box, channel ideally able to weld pipe. Covering heavy steel building frames & work platforms, stairs, hand rails etc. Working on industrial & commercial structural & architectural project site work. Erecting & fitting steel frames, supports, walkways, work platforms, hand rails.

Operating IPAF - Mobile Platforms to erect steelwork frames. Also, semi-skilled applicants can apply if they can cover most of the work depending on their skill set.

Quals/Skills:

  • Able to fabricate & weld with MIG mainly & ideally some TIG depending on skills levels, or weld with MIG and TIG
  • C & G or NVQ Welding Fabrication or Sheet Metalwork or Steel Erecting
  • Ideally - Use Tube Bending Machine & Press Brake & other workshop machinery & tools

Hours: 0730 to 1630 or up to 55 hours Mon to Fri as required. Also 0700 to 1330 or 1530 Sat as required.

Term: Temp Contract 4 to 8 weeks also with good chance of further work 13 to 18 weeks on other sites in the Middlesex & London areas or further afield as required.

Pay: Temp Contract = £26 + per hr up to 60 hrs, £31 + per hr Sat.
